Hello Again! Thanks for stopping by to see what The Princess and The Pains are up to this week. As always they are keeping us on our toes.
Benny The Jet achieved a major milestone in his baseball career. No it wasn’t a homerun or a broken record…he was involved in his very first brawl :-/ This kid will be the cause of every gray hair on my head. He was SO excited you would have thought he was telling us about some glorious achievement. Nope. I am hoping that this will be a once in a lifetime item off his bucket list and I will never hear a story like this again! To all the little league mamas out there- stay tuned, your baseball days have years of excitement and heart attacks ahead!
This was quite a week for The Hulk. After 4 days at home with poison ivy and oak he returned to school just in time for report card day. And FINALLY my sweet boy met his goal and brought home an honor roll award! My heart was bursting with pride for him. Hulk works so hard and things do not come easy for him but his efforts paid off and he was so proud of his achievement.
Princess expressed her disappointment in the 88% grade that kept her from making Principal’s Honor Roll. This little lady is a perfectionist like her Daddy and will not rest until she reached the top.
Shane & I topped off Friday with a hot night on the town! Just kidding. We had the opportunity to attend our county PTA banquet. He’s such a good sport when it comes to our volunteer work and attending these ‘exciting’ events. We even stopped by our local fancy hot spot for a second dinner since we were all dressed up with no place to go.
We spent a typical spring Saturday juggling sports schedules but Thing 1 walked away with a win in his baseball game and Bub rocked lacrosse and had the chance to make his first shot!
April is quickly coming to a close and we are preparing for our long summer break. Camps are scheduled, water park passes are purchased. Its time to start planning our summer schedule and stock up on supplies for fun and for learning. Sty tuned for our first post SERIES about how we plan for summer and how we manage kids will multiple ages during those long HOT months.
And that’s a wrap for What We’re Up To Wednesday! Thank you so much for visiting. Please come back again and watch as we grow here and share more about our family and all we have to share.
Until Next Time…
